I have 2 Acer Aspire notebooks, a 3003 and a 5050, can anyone tell me if the screens are interchangable please? To be more precise, the 5050 screen is shattered so I would like to replace it with the screen from the 3003, will this work?

they are not interchangeable as the 3000 has either a 15 or 15.4 inch screen while the 5050 will have a 14.1 inch screen

Thanks, yes, you're correct, I hadn't looked at that, the 5050 is 14" and the 3003 is 15", that settle's that.
