It is indeed a great gamin laptop- not the 630M version but the one equipped with GT 640M.
Usual drawbacks include low res screen and in this case glossy plastic but it seems OK in general.

Is it just me, or Acer is recycling model numbers? Will the next model be called V3-5720G, with a "budget" version named V3-5720ZG?

I don't like the naming scheme- it used to be clear and under an old scheme v3 would be 13", v5 would be 15" and v7 would be 17" with Ultra added to mark premium models.
Under the new one you have to be more careful since v3-571 being 15" but v3-771 is 17".

I have it... decent for travelling gaming rig. Been playing the GW2 beta all weekend on it no problems. I don't like the split Enter/Slash key, and I wish it had a better rez. But it does a lot of things well. I just wish I could figure out how to update the NVidia drivers with the 300 series, Acer is still only on like 295 and the Nvidia installer won't recognize my card :(
