    Good day All
I have loaded Kaspersky anti virus on my computer, the computer gave me a driver alert and restarted, now the bios screen does not display at start up and the hard drive light does not come on, the only thing that seems to be work is the CPU fan.

Can anybody please help me with this problem or give me a direction to follow
    Regards Henk

    Hi there,
I experience the same issue on a acer aspire 5920G. bios screen doesn't show up, drive light doesn't come on, cpu fan works, on some reboot it says a shy short "beep", once it made 2 short beeps. Tried many times to reboot. No success... any idea?
PS: didnt install nothing in the last 2 weeks, especially things related to bios... or maybe it could be microsoft auto updates (i have vista) that messed up things??
    Thanks in advance
