I considered that notebook but bought 5630 6368 instead.
I didn't had much time to research and compare. Also I didn't had option of buying online. Basically I was limited to buying in person from Bestbuy.ca, futureshop.ca, londondrugs, vancouver.craigslist or vancouver area ebay listing. Futureshop and bestbuy are owned by same company so not much difference in inventory and pricing.
T5200 is newer line of processor and I thought maybe 5630-6368 is newer line of acer laptop then the as5570-4011 so maybe acer ironed out the glitches that were there in 5570. Also t5200 is capable of running 64-bit programs. Although I would have weighed in for as5570 if it was windows xp only instead of vista upgrade. Also 2G ram and 160G harddisk is a big factor over as5630.

Dell 640m should be a good choice too maybe wait for it little more. If you can buy online then should consider the sites like ncix.com , powernotebooks.com,... for canadian dell outlet reseller www.auction4it.com , dfsdirect.ca .

I'm in a similar situation where my local CompUSA has an Aspire 5570-4421 on sale for about $810. Anyone with any personal experience with these laptops?
