    Hi,

I have (well my parents have) reserved one of these as a birthday present for me and im wondering what people think. Especially in regard to screen size and portability but also in regards to price as it uses the new centrino 2 processor. I am led to believe the battery life is about 3 hours, any thoughts on this either?

Please note im going for the one with the better spec.

    Thanks in advance,

    James

Nah im not really going to play any major games, maybe a bit of miniclip here and there and a bit of dreamweaver, thats about the extent the graphics card is going to have to deal with. Possible photoshop now and then.

Sure it’s quite impressive for a laptop with such a powerful processor. I get about three and a half hours out of it and that’s on the "balanced" setting there are also "high performance" and "power saving" settings which will alter the battery performance accordingly.

If your thinking of buying one of these i would defiantly recommend one I’m chuffed with mine, as long as your not into really demanding gaming this is a great laptop. I would recommend you get the more powerful one (I got mine from SimplyAcer) as it has substantially better graphics.
