I am new to these forums and don't be harsh on me if this come up in another post but there a few things about this laptop I need clearing up.
I've seen mentioned on previous posts about the hidden part of the hard drive sits the image files to restart your laptop back to when you originally turn it on for the very first time. I want to know where this actually located?
I have looked it in the Manage options in Vista under storage and disk management and located 2 sections of the drive with no Prompt i.e. C: drive D: Drive etc and they seem not have anything in them. Can I assume to think this is where the backup is located?
I have actually in fact completely formatted only the parts of the drive where it was formatted before and Installed Vista 64bit (How dare they not install that in the first place I don't know) and now I can not install the eRecovery Management program is that because it is not 64bit compatible or I deleted the back up sections of the disk and becuase of this it is now refusing to install? The rest of the ePrograms work fine.
Any ideas?

I have the same problem but I think it's not related with vista64, I have the same error reinstalling vista32/64. I think it's easyer to use Acronis TrueImage instead. The recovery partition is not acessible with vista, it's a hidden partition which you need special software to access it.
