    Hi, everyone, I got two months ago an aspire 7730g with Nvidia 9600M GT 1GB. MXMII, it seems to have a problem, but i dont know how to fix it, Windows 7 64 bits installed now, i tried Windows XP as well 32 bits, and W7 32 bits, and not one of the drivers old and new versions for each one system i´ve installed, same as i used Vista ones, driver .inf mod, hand driver installs, cleanning old driver traces with DDU and others tools, i seen most of all the forum related about aspire 7730g and gpu upgrades post, here and some others sites, maybe anywhere is a solution but i not meet it, for now the card can only handle to be used as default standar vga without proper drivers workings, all times the only reply of the system when get to restart is a BSOD referred to nvlddmkm.sys ( maybe file name is not exactly ).
    System Specs :
    Acer Aspire 7730G
    Mobile DualCore Intel Core 2 Duo T6400, 2000 MHz (10 x 200)
    Intel Cantiga PM45
    4060 MB (DDR2-800 DDR2 SDRAM)
    Aspire 7730G BIOS_3636, original /////Phoenix (03/10/09), i flashed today with :Aspire 7730G BIOS_3636 MOD, not luck (for NV Issues)
    GPU: standar VGA (14 MB), system loaded GPU
    3D accelerator: nVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT - PCI Express 1.0 x16: nVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT (Acer) MXMII
    And the questions, i dont see any paper where anybody say is posible to swap the card with ATI branded one MXMII type, only it can, Aspire 7730G - MXM-II, 9300M GS, 9600M GT from Acer MXM Models and Cards, I think the card had any defect that makes system crashes loading the proper drivers, but Why it does "fine" on Windows 7 x64 as standar VGA card ?, "fine" means it do not have crashes or some flick´s, but the perfomance is quite limited.
    Has anyone found a way to solve it ?, as i seen around few years old post where many people ask about similar systems where using same card and i dont see from there a right solution.
    May really the card malfuction hardware related?
    I remember but cannot get back to where i´ve seen talking about aspire 7730g bios is used on a travelmate laptop (both share it) and i read the TM can use some variant of NV and ATI card´s? if i meet the site again and it shows true, can i flash this lapop with TM bios variant and get ATI GPU working?
    Any help will be appreciated.
