    heya,

    i want to upgrade my cpu from a c2d t7300 to a t9550, i want to know is that possible?

    Unfortunately, nope, it's not possible, the maximum CPU you can put is T9500 (2.6GHz, which very close to the T9550) or T9300 (2.5GHz, slightly lower) and maybe X9000 (2.8GHz, Extreme version, much faster). Your laptop has the PM965 chipset which supports CPUs up to 800MHz FSB. The T9550 has FSB 1066MHz and is supported by the newer PM45 chipset. I had T7300 and replaced it with the T9300 and you can see the difference in performance and in temperatures when palying games or using CPU-intensive applications.
