    HI, I need to restore my laptop using the acer erecovery. I have done this before but I have lost the printout that I used. I remember doing it this way as you don't need the os disc or the driver disc.
    Any help would be appreciated

    when starting up the computer press alt + f10

    that should start the recovery partition

    In case you forgot... If you have deleted Acer reserved partition, Vista factory restore will probably fail...
