    Hi!

I have a big problem. My laptop keeps freezing every few hours of running idle (without working on it, but it's turned on). I have a pre-installed Vista Home Premium on it. All I did was upgrading a few drivers used on a Acer site. Oh, and in that time of running, sometimes a beep comes out of it (a long high pitched sound). First few times those freezing times, the mouse was unusable and I had to restart the computer by pressing that blue button for a few seconds. Now several times a mouse is moving, but nothing works, not even a keyboard. So again pressing a button is the only option for the time being. What am I doing wrong? And is this a matter to return the laptop for a new one as it's only a few weeks old?

    Thanx in advance

Could be either software or hardware. If it isn't too much hassle, do a Windows reload and try using the original Acer drivers, if the problem is still there, take it back to get it fixed/replaced.
