    Acer Aspire 5830TG Cleaning Fan..

    How do you get to the laptop's fan, it's really difficult, you can't open it from the back. I want to clean the fan because of the dust..

    on the first page is at somme point the link to the manual of the 5830tg, its's realy easy you take out all the screws then take out the mouse first then the keyboard, the fan has 3 or 4 screws and there you go... you'll find all the dust on the grill of the cooler after taking out the fan.
    If you have problem with heat (like all of us) take out the main board (another 5screws plus the wifi module) then repaste the processor and gpu and take out the nets underneeth the case where the vents are, if you want to go a litle further with the cooling do the manual fan mod, then you'll be amased about the gaming performance...
