    Hi,

It seems my Broadcom BCM43225 card is bugged when using 40mhz spectrum frequency. I've chosen 20/40mhz in driver properties and also 20/40mhz in my D-link Dir-635 router settings. Whenever i ping my gateway ip address, 1 packet or more is lost every 10 pings. I tried switching driver versions but without luck. If i force my router in G 54mbps mode it works flawless. I've tried disabling encryption for N, didn't help out. If i force my router in 20mhz, the packet loss is gone. The signal strength is 80% and it travels just one wall. Problem for 20 mhz is the link speed - only 140mbps instead of 270-300mbps.

Anyone had problems with this wi-fi card on this forum? Should I buy a cheap Intel 5300 card from ebay?

If your Wifi Card is damaged or corrupted, buy a good Wifi Card, it is available in many Computer stores . For your best you need to change from Acer to Toshiba or other good model laptops.
