    Acer Aspire 5670 Orbicam Problem

    My orbicam is functioning properly but when I close my laptop lid, my computer makes a sound and when I open the lid, my computer says that new hardware was found. This "hardware" is recognized by my computer as "Acer Orbicam #2" which means for some reason, my laptop thinks that a new camera is installed or plugged in everytime I close and open my lid.

    Also, it searches for a usb driver that it says the camera can connect to to go faster. But there is no actual camera, it is just recognizing my orbicam twice for some reason. This causes a problem since after awhile, when I close and open my lid, my computer goes blue screen and restarts on me.

    Does anyone know how to fix this problem or what is happening?

    I am having problems with my orbicam, I have uninstalled, reinstalled and still nothing. Can someone please direct me to somewhere were I can fix this problem. None of my messengers are recongnizing the webcam that I downloaded from acer website, including my computer. I currently have the webcam disabled.

    Frustrated and need help
