    Acer Aspire 5634 LCD Problem?????

    Hi all, I bought by Acer Aspire 5634 about 10 months ago, all went well until about 5 months ago the LCD screen start displaying Red(Pink) shadow for everything on screen with White background, to make the matter worse sometime even showing Green snow on Black background. Strangely as it start the problem went away few days later. I thought it was the software problem, maybe the system was overheated because i was doing some hard gaming around that time. Now about a week ago the same problem reappeared :mad: , but this time the Red Shadow goes on and off and it doesn't seem to go away. I am seeking some advise or who has the same problem with their LCD screen :)

    I have made up a list of issues that might cause the problem
    - faulty LCD screen (the last thing that i want)
    - OS (i am currently using XP Media Center Edition that came with the system)
    - software compatibility issues
    - system overheat
