Acer Aspire 5535

Hello to all,
I bought Acer Aspire 5535. I got Resource dvd with it, and on that dvd are drivers for Windows Xp, Vista 64 and Vista 32.
When I started him for the first time and try Alt + F10 nothing happens, so I decided to format HDD and put XP on it. I changed AHCI in bios (to IDE) and formated the HDD with Windows Xp. Installation of Windows Xp went just fine. It works fine and everything is ok.
I Only thing I don't have on it is EmPowering. I tried to find it on Acer website, but no way

 

The empowering thing isnt really vital, it has a few little tools on it but thats about as far as it goes.

Basically its just a resource hog so i wouldent worry about it

 

As I can see, on Acer website are only drivers for Vista. If you got Resource DVD with it, and want to install Xp use drivers from that Dvd.
Some errors which I discover on Acer.com.
I tried to register my laptop, but can't, because I can't write @ in form for second time writting my e-mail.
I tried to write mail on their mail form on their site, but when I try to enter my serial number of my laptop, only I get is error (wrong formatting SN).

Does anyone know how to contact Acer by mail?

As for contacting ACER by mail, go to www.acer.com, select your location then search for "contact us" link.

I have just bought an ACER ASPIRE 5535, but there was no DVD with it, and I don't find any XP Drivers anywhere. If you have a DVD with drivers for XP, could you help me (packing drivers and sending by email, or rapidshare or something similar?

Yes, you may post links but keep it legal! No illegal stuff is allowed.

Hello, I am also looking for XP drivers for an Acer Aspire 5535 I bought recently that had no DVD. I have checked the Acer website and called Acer support, but the weren't able to help. If these drivers are available, can someone help me to get them?

Looks like Acer has abandoned XP for your lappie. No drivers listed anywhere.

Are russian and bulgarian similar as ВХОД, means enter in Russian, and looks like it says the same on that site (bit off topic sorry).

Me? Yes I do, 70KB average speed. I'm located in Madrid, Spain.

Thanks mozo - downloaded with no problems - I just have to figure out how to do the installation.

 

You have to run Setup.exe of each hardware device you want install. Exclude LAN driver. There is no Setup.exe, and you have to load it manually.

The VGA ATI DRIVER is working 100% !!!
After instalation of your windows XP you have to instal VGA first.

Acer Aspire 5535 ther is all DRIVERS for windows XP:
DRIVERS part1.rar
DRIVERS part2.rar

After instalation of your windows XP you have to instal VGA first.

 

Regarding the registration issue: Make sure you get the zeros (0) and letter O (as in omega) right. I mixed them up at first, but after I tried the other way it worked.
