Just flashed v1.3 on my 5520 5716 and I thought I bricked it!
After a funny little (long@ss) restart..
    It works..
    I flashed it in vista..
    Download bios
    unzip 2 folders
run "flash32"........ :eek2: *not for everyone*
It cut the p.o.s.t. time in half...
No other performance or bios selections..
I could not find any info on the bios changes/fixes
    *I think I took a large ri$k*

Got my 5520 a couple of days ago, is p.o.s.t. same as bootup time? I´d really like to flash my bios if it cuts the boot-up time in half but at the same time I´d rather have a slow booting laptop than a bricked one LOL! :D

Well, I flashed it by accident. I opened the programm to see what is was all about and it started flashing. No turning aroung. I just hope everything will be ok, as acer didn`t inclue a changelog with it, and 1.21 and 1.3 were released the same day ! Well, if anyone has issues, do post here, so i`ll know to revert to the old bios that came with the laptop.

SP1 does fix the issue, as I know that I had that issue on a regular PC.
Also been running v1.32 since it came out, dare I say, seems to run a bit better.

If you have 4GB ram installed, Vista SP1 shows total amount of ram installed instead of total available ram for OS.

Look into Task Manager and you will see the total available ram for OS (physical memory).

By the way, what are the fixes/updates for Acer Bios v1.32?
