    Hi all

my wife has just realised that her 3810tz has no audio on speakers or headphone.
She doesnt know when this happened but a few weeks ago i had to take it apart to fit a new lcd cable.

So its possible that i may not have connect something properly or damaged something.

Computer says everything is fine and we have reloaded the drivers

I have looked at the cost of motherboards (about £110) but also see that there are seperate audio boards so I wonder if anyone has any idea how to procede? first thing will be to check that the wires are all connected. but after that andy advice would be good

    Thanks all
