The audio on my laptop works fine but when I insert like for speakers and earphones to the SPDIF jack unto may laptop there is no sound coming out of the speaker/earphone.

S/PDIF is digital audio. This output has to be used with digital devices such as Sony digital speakers and 5.1 audio.
I don't think you can use analog speakers and earphones as most of these devices are analog.

But before i can use speakers and earphones without no problem..

Where will i insert the earphone if its not going to work with S/PDIF jack?

If you have Acer Arcade on your computer there are some settings for changing the speaker Enviorment from Headphones, S/PDIF, 2 or more speakers, etc.
If you have the manual for this model you might refer to it on changing the outputs.
I am unsure if this will help you but hope it will.

Another thought, Open your speaker properties on the taskbar and there are some settings that might have been changed.
Either that or there is a problem with your jacks on your computer.

Ok, I have the same problem. I haven't found a solution, but sometimes it helps if i switch to Stand By for a few minutes.

Please, if someone finds a permanent fix to this, please let me know
