My Acer has just recieved 2x2Gb memory modul, and Windows only recognize 2,4Gb with bios 3.10. Upgraded to 3.13 Bios helps a little (recognized 3Gb), but not 4gb. Can anyone have a soluton?

What version of Windows are you using, 32 bit or 64 bit.

If it's the 32 bit version, it won't recognise all 4gb of Ram, it usually recognises around 3 - 3.5gb(ish).

The only solution so you could recognise all 4gb is to install a 64 bit version of windows.

    Nice!
    Microsoft don't give a sh*t for 32bit user support, as i See.

For the record this is 32bit OS limitation not an MS Windows limitation.

Has your notebook got a dedicated GPU ?

You can enable PAE to get near 4GB, but it'll be better to upgrade to a 64-bit OS, by getting a 64-bit install disc, and use the key printed in the COA.
