I've just upgraded an old Acer Aspire from its 30GB drive to a 320GB drive. I've got XP SP3 installed and while the drive is 320GB, the system only reports 128GB. I've used a Partition Magic program but no luck. Partition Magic only sees 128GB as well.

I'm wondered if it's a problem with the BIOS and since I've got the latest BIOS, I guess I'm stuck.

Has anyone out there ever got the Aspire 3000 working with a larger disk? Say a 160GB or greater where you can actually see more than 128GB?
