    Hi all,

Can somebody please tell me why it is that I keep losing the connection to my bt home hub. The internet or should i say the wifi orange button on the front after some time just goes out and i lose the connection. If i press the button and then press it again to basically disable and reenable it all comes back on again. And this happens quite a few times a day and is very frustrating.

Has any body else experienced this and does anybody know what the problem might be.

    Thank you...

sounds like the adapter may be going into powersaving move

under device manager check all options till you find the one that talks of powersaving mode (or something like that) but it's usually a feature found in the DEVICE MANAGER,, under properties for the device in question

Changed everything that I can and it has made no difference, i still keep losing the connection. Im wondering if there is a newer or older driver that works better.

ARE YOU SURE THE MODEL ISNT 2200BG they have a driver for that!!!

    XP HOME OR PRO???

download/install SP3 now...if it causes problems it creates it's own restore point so you can do a system restore to the point just prior to installing SP3.

but i have yet to see a PC personally that SP3 caused problems with.

now some old software i have seen need a little modification,,, but i highly doubt you are running anything that falls into that slim little % of software.

do the sp3 and i'll have you some driver links to try

Ive found 9.0.4.39 from the intel website. I remember having downloaded and used this before now before I formatted the machine and started again. Just remembered it. Im sure it cured it last time, we will have to see.

Thank you for all your help and your time, fingers crossed!!
