    Acer 9800 - Replacing Keyboard

    Does anyone know how I can replace the keyboard on the Acer Aspire 9800 myself so i dont have to ship it in? I have the new keyboard.. Thanks!

    My guess if like most other acer model they 3 screw on back that hold hinge covers on winch all trim with top above keyboard
    winch you need remove with laptop screen open

    then they shound be few screw to lift up cable do not yank on it rip the ribbon cable out and break the connector lift the tab on side ribbinon cable or slide tab forward on it carefull depend on type of connector used slide ribbon cable out and remove keyboard carefull slide cable redo tab for ribbion cable connect by slide them in or push them down lock the ribbion able in

    lay keyboard place redo all the screws
