    Hi,

    My first post, hopefully it's in the right place.

    Does any one know what is the max CPU upgrade that the 8943G series can take?? I was looking at the i7 920 or i7 940 extreme?

    I have already bought a i7 740.
    Then I found out from the Acer service guide it will take a i7 820 so i've fitted one of them and it works great..

    I don't think it will support the i7 920 or 940 extreme because i tried to upgrade with an i7 840 QM and don't work.
    What was the original cpu sold with your laptop.
