    Acer 8930g DEAD!!!

    Hay all on forum!!!
    I have acer 8930g and my problem is that nothing working!
    Only sound clicking from I dont well.... if is from cpu or gpu!
    When I a plug in jack Blue lights dosent light enymore!
    And I was reading forum and try some stuff!
    Then I unpluge GPU from MBR and then plug charger then was blue lights and i was able turn on comp... after pressing and waiting blue indicator of CPU flashing and hard disk working BL-Rom working and flashing BUT I HAVE black screen nothing happens!!! I reead that screen must works whitout GPU! And I try plug a external monitor but nothing!
    Can sombody solve this problem!
    What is problem motherboard or GPU!

    Send it to Acer. They are the best to know what might be the problem. Unless someone on forums had same problem, it will be difficult to speculate the exact cause.

    yes i will for sure send to the acer but my warrenty is out!!
    and a acer partner here in croatia is too much expensive!!!
    they want for just to open laptop a from 50-100 $!!!!
    and what I fund on ebay same graphic card for 140 $ (nvidia 9600 GT 512 DDR3)
    I will buy that I am sure that GPU is problem, maybe is motherboard or video part on the motherboard I dont know!!!
    Only what a read that must be a logo acer on screen and BIOS whitout a GPU...is this true...?
    if is tru than is motherboard dead!! and i must buy a motherboard and GPU!!!
    Did someone have the same problem?

    Hi, unless you have a dual gfx card you will get nothing on the screen if you've removed the card..

    My Moodel is ACER ASPIRE 8930G-583G32Bn
    i dont know if this model have a dual gfx!!!
    But i think that only need replace GPU and acer will work like charme!!!

    Hi, I beleive your laptop only has one gfx card, replacing it might be worth a try, however nothing is 100% guaranteed..

    yes it has only 1 gpu
    so if you take it out the screen will be blank

    Did you replaced GPU?
    I have the same problem and I don't know new GPU can help?
