    ares6, IIRC most 8930G don't support quad-core CPUs like Q9000, only dual-cores. It depends on motherboard revision.

    If your 8930G came with Q9000 pre-installed and it worked, but for now it doesn`t, than something is dead inside. It can be CPU, motherboard, power circuits. First of all try to install any Core 2 Duo M into your laptop. If it starts with it, than Q9000 is dead. If it will not start with C2D inside, than your motherboard should be changed.
