    Hello Everyone, :)

    I have a Asus 7738G with 2 500gb sata 150 drives in it.
Can I put a Samsung series 830 SSD in it as a boot drive?

Will I see a very big performance boost on a machine that does not have SATA 3?

    Thanks for any help

    MP :)

Yes you can put SSD as a boot-drive and it will be much faster than a normal HDD but obviously not nearly as fast as if you had SATA III
