    Acer 7220 Have fan always on -overheats

    I saw a post and now can't find it for the life of me. My fan will never turn on, the machine will just overheat and shut off. There was a post where you download a certain version of epowermanagement I think and you check a box somewhere that says, 'fan always on' then the fan would turn on.

    I thought a bios update fixed the problem but it did not since once I uninstalled everything it was back to running really hot. Need downloads for xp and not vista.
