    Acer 7110 Orbicam (Bison) does not take videos

    I bought a nice 17 inch Acer 7110 from tiger direct for my daughter. This model has a built in web cam when you go to the orbi cam software it only allows for still pictures no video capture capabilities acer support had re download all drivers and applications and still no good. Can anyone help. Its running windows vista home basic

    i have the same laptop and i use windows movie maker for video capture.
    had trouble with the software at the start but soon found it was running at start-up and this was the cause of the trouble. now i have no trouble with the orbicam and find it a great addition to the laptop. :)

    any trouble PM me :)

    but im using xp pro

    I tried movie maker but i does not seem to work. How do you make a video movie with it.

    movie maker works great but like all things microsoft you have to tell it what to do and where to find it :confused:
