I recently bought Acer 5920G with blu-ray drive and installed XP with SP2 on it, but when i try to open blu-ray disc from explorer I see it blank, like nothing is on it. I have no problems reading DVDs and CDs.

I had problems too when I realised my DVD player wouldn't play HD-DVD's. Turns out the shop sold me the wrong 5920G, took me a month to realise my DVD drive was just standard and not HD-DVD lol, did your Blue-ray drive work under vista?

I got some free distribution of Linux with my acer 5920G, so I haven't tested blu-ray on vista because I don't have it. But, accordingly to microsoft, xp with sp2 supports blu-ray (and I have SP2 installed).

On my 5920G bought Apr. 30/08 under Vista, the BluRay at least on board works fine.
I just have problem with onboard speaker balance. No problem when plug in external.
