I recently purchased the Acer 5920G, and am absolutely loving it at the moment. I currently have Orange broadband (Still with wanadoo supplied equipment) that is connected to my PC wirelessly.
First thing i wanted to do was to get my new laptop up and running online, so i Run the default software "Empowering technology" and clicked on then internet tab. It detected 2 Netowrks, both mine and my Neighbours. I clicked on connect, it promptly asked for my WEP key so i typed it in. Now this is where my problem arises. It indicates that "Connection to the Wireless LAN has Failed" I've tried many times but to no avail, i really want to connect to the internet :(

Any help would be appreciated :D

First update your WiFi drivers & go to WiFi device properties

    # Set your WiFi network search setting to Aggressive(Available under WiFi Properties)

    # After that set WiFi transmitting power to 100%

Finally try to connect again :)
