    Acer 5920 Synaptics update

    When you type word documents, the page automatically scrolls as you brush the mouse pad, or causes you to delete lines of text, as it highlights them whilst you are typing.

    Download the latest Synaptic touch pad drivers as found here in "Drivers and utilities."

    Make sure you remove your previous ones first. Whilst it doesn't entirely fix the problem, I can say it does improve the situation to the point I now leave my touch pad enabled, even if I am using an external mouse.
