I just got the Aver 5920. I noticed that sometimes the mouse would click onto stuff without me clicking the mouse button. Is that something wrong or can I disabled this?

    Not disabling the touchpad....
While I am using the touchpad, for example moving the mouse pointer, sometimes it would select stuff on its own without me pressing on the left button.

Maybe you should change the sensitivity settings or disable tapping altogether in Synaptics Touchpad Preferences. It depends which you are comfortable with. I personally would increase palm sensitivity to maximum. It moves sometimes but not as much as the default setting.

You can find the settings in Control Panel --> Mouse or by double-clicking on the Touchpad icon in the System Tray.
