I see this model is the cheapest from all places, Comet (?).

Is this laptop 32bit operating system that comes with it or 64bit?

I am not surprised that Comet has a very good price online. Although the price in store might defer, you can still ask them to match their online price. That's how I bought my old 5920G and save £100!!! The OS is probably 32-bit.

You are allowed to install a 64bit equivalent SKU of Windows inside using their OEM license since the license sticker didn't say 32 or 64 bit.

I've got the Aspire 5738Z-423G32Mn config of this machine, which came with Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit, so I'd be fairly certain the model you state here will also be the 32-bit version.
