I have an Acer 5560 sb256. I am trying to determine if it supports SATA rev 3 (6GB/s) or just SATA 2. I am guessing it does not support 6GB/s because I cannot find anything stating it does. I have run HWInfo and find nothing about SATA 6GB/s. I ran HWInfo on my HP dv7 and see SATA 6GB/s listed under Motherboard / PCH Features. PCH Feature is not even listed when running HWInfo on the Acer.
    Thanks.

I guess it only supports sata 2. You can use an expresscard for creating a sata 3 port but dunno if it can reach those speeds.
