    Acer 5102 System Restore without disks

    Ive had a nitemare with the above mentioned ever since ive had the lappy.My freind has got it back up and running many a time but it needs a complete restore.I didnt get a disk with it and know it has a hidden restore system on the lappy.Any one got any tips how to do this please?Many thanks in advance.

    ALT+F10 pressed simultaneously at boot (when you see Acer logo) should start recovery provided that "D2D recovery" option in BIOS is enabled.
    After you've recovered check if you can burn your own recovery CDs/DVDs with Acer eRecovery software (you can also check it now but it may have been uninstalled and recovery is going to put it back in place)
