I have nice crystal clear 14" aspire 5050.
It was working when I sold it. Next day it turn on with video blank as if it was the nVidia graphic issue.

    xternal monitor works fine.
Tested inverter with spare lcd, nothing no light.
If it's inverter, I should see some kinda dim graphic, but nothing.
Nothing is output to the lcd. What could be this problem?

Could ATI GPU have this heat issue too making it work only with external not LCD?

Only options now is to order new video cable and inverter but, why would the cable just not work all of the sudden?
