Hi, I just got my 2nd Acer TZG (had to return the 1st one as the shop send me one that run Vista)
This one is W7, the battery lasted only 5h 7min (sticker says 8h+ ) Is that normal for W7? What sort of battery life do you get on W7?
(I had it running on power saver mode with wi fi turned off)

The biggest issue I have with this laptop is the 'breaking' noice coming from the speaker when I listen to music or watch tv on it.
I didn't notice that on the 4810TZG with vista on it. Is it W7/Driver issue or faulty speaker?

Also are your 4810TZG's badged as 4810TZ?

Yes, the battery life is tested under extreme conditions - NO wifi, LOW brightness, NO disk activity.

THE computer will stay on for 8 hours on a full charge, with all power saving modes on.

Realistic usage is almost always 1/2 or so of the stated usage.

You might want to update your sound card drivers as well.
