hi. new in here. ive bought an Acer notebook (4736z) and the store only installs a trial of vista which eventually expired. I tried reinstalling/formating the laptop with Windows XP SP2 CD but i always get a blue screen error. but when trying to install vista (any vista type) it was always successful. again my problem was how could install XP in this machine. is the notebook not compatible with XP? or do i need to do something before installing? TIA.
