I have an outlet who sells laptop ram telling me that the 4315 takes 2x1GB as its maximum allowable ram..? Can that be true?

i've seen reports of 3 gigs by placing a 2 gig in a SPECIFIC slot and a 1 gig in the other..

but i have not seen it myself.. i can't remember who it was that told me that..

but the 5315 is the same way... 2gigs officially... but 3 will work when done in a certian way
