When i bought this laptop i saw that the Ram was expandable to 2GB. I bought this laptop from circuit city, would they be able to upgrade it with 1more GB then what is has now?

Does anyone know how much i should expect to pay?

Look on NewEgg for some compatible memory.

For a stick of 1GB laptop memory?

Memory is usually volatile.. but I'll throw out a ballpark range of $60-$150 US for a stick of 1GB RAM. Plus shipping and any installation/labour fees you might incur.

ok thanks, ive got one more Q, how hard would it be to do the ram upgrade myself? Ive done work on PCs before, but this is my first notebook. Could anyone tell me what i have to unclip/unscrew inorder to get to my ram slots?

I saw that newegg wants like 90 bucks. i figure ill add 10-20 on top of that to get it locally.
