corrupt disk or file on that disk :(
you may need a windows disk or ask acer for the recovery disks
    Good luck

wash with water the second CD , and with a soft sponge and some soap.

Get a microfiber cloth , and dry it up .

    And try again ...

    If the above still fails.
Try to make a copy of the CD with the problem, set as read speed the lowest possible.
Plextor CDRWs , haves Plextools , that is an amazing software, to make copies of damaged CD's .

    If the above still fails.

Try to locate one cream called as Xerapol , its special material for plastic polish, it will remove any small scratches , or blurry spots from your CD.

By the one or the other solution , you will end victorious . ;)

    thanks for the suggestions

I finally ordered new CD's from acer and I get the same message "Cannot find preload.tag for SetBootlni"

So I guess its not a CD problem.

Anyone knows what can be the issue here?

Oh well , there is no fixed solution ...

You can still try few things .

    1) You can try to run the laptop , with one stick of memory ( If you have two)
Lets say more stability , if its memory related issue.

    2) You CD-DVD drive is bad ( mechanical issue) , and does not read well the disk.
