    Is the Acer 1410T webcam decent?

    I am trying to decide between this laptop and the MSI Wind U210. Which one has the better webcam?

    There is no reason you should be basing your laptop decision on the web cam only. However for a VGA webcam it isn't bad.

    That is most definitely not the only reason I am choosing a laptop. However, it is a very important component to me. "Not bad" is kind of vague. Can you compare it to any other laptops that have a webcam? I am familiar with the quality of the Macbook's webcam. Also, is it better or worse than the MSI Wind U210?

    The webcam has the same or almost the same quality as my Gateway P-7805U. Both are however 1.3mp webcam so there shouldn't be a difference if any which I believe most netbook and notebook have 1.3mp webcam.

    Nice bike, I ride as well.

    Im not sure 1410T's webcam but my 4810T's webcam is crystal clear and produce vivid colors. Better than my previous Compaq CQ40 VGA webcam and supports HD 720.

    Thanks for the responses everyone! I think I'm gonna wait and see what the price is gonna be on the 1810tz and then decide between it and the current 1410t.
