    Hello all,

I own an Aspire 5940G and I'm wondering whether Power Smart function is related to Windows 7 "energy saving mode".

Actually, when I press Power Smart key (on top right of keyboard), the key is lighting but W7 is still in normal mode.
Moreover, according to User Guide, luminosity should be reduced but this happen only if laptop is on main supply (is it normal ?).

So despite of key is lighting correctly does the feature works correctly ?
