I understand that there won't be any driver support from Acer until "shortly after" the official Windows 7 release date on the 22nd of this month...

However, I have loaded Windows 7 Pro 32-bit onto my machine but there is a confliction of display adapters. Specifically, I cannot get my machine to utilize the (superior) ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 over the (inferior) on-board intel adapter.

It seems with ATI's release of Catalyst driver v9.9 there is support for Windows 7 ( http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonmob_win7-32.aspx). I have downloaded and successfully installed this software and verified in device manager that the adapter is reportedly functioning properly without error.

Upon disabling (in Device manager) the on-board intel chip (in Safe Mode) in order to force my machine to use the ATI adapter instead, I restart, but then I recieve an error message from ATI/Windows saying that there is no driver support found for 'this installed device' (or something along those lines).

Is anyone aware of this issue? Can it be resolved or will I have to wait for a relevant driver update from Acer itself?

    Thanks in advance.
