This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Ok here's my post from the main 3850/4850/5830 thread, but no 5830 owners really use it.

    BHphoto had it instock on friday, but now have it labled "discontinued"

    Acer Aspire TimelineX AS5830TG-6402 15.6" LX.RHQ02.021 B&H

    Tigerdirect never got back to me, but here's B&H's responce:
    It could be that they finally realized that they are idiots and made a 540m version for the US.
