Hi i purchased an Acer Extensa 5620-6830. On spec, it said that this laptop comes with Blutooth 2.0 EDR. However, i cannot enable the bluetooth with the switch on the front. Whenever i switch it on, NO BLUETOOTH DEVICE pops up.

I also tried to install bluetooth driver with the program they provided but the setup could not install driver because it could not find a bluetooth device

I do not know the purpose of the switch if the laptop comes without bluetooth.

The message "No bluetooth device" means either your bluetooth module is kaput, not enabled in the bios, or you don't have a bluetooth module fitted in your laptop.

A lot of the lower specced models, mine included have the switch and LED's for bluetooth, a 3G modem or both. If this is the case, You'll have to pick one up from ebay, and fit it yourself.
