Just did a clean install of W7 Ultimate on Aspire 5251, went very smooth.

Only thing is it's having a battery charge problem, at first it was stuck at 4%. Searched and found a few procedures to help with this, most involved some variation of while on AC pull battery start/stop W7 and replace battery.
Nothing changed until I uninstalled the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" in device manager and restarted, now it'll charge to 44%, but the LED light stays orange, which I believe indicates still charging.

I updated the BIOS with the latest - 2.11 after the clean W7 install. I also tried loading the ACER "ePower Management Application", but with no doc about what this does not sure if I need it or not, (it didn't seem to help).

This came to me broke so I don't know what the old W7 install was displaying.

    Anyone else have this issue?
