    Hi,

I purchased a german version of this laptop which has a german keyboard. I am looking to change the keyboard to an english version. Will the service manual tell me how to do this? If yes can someone tell me where i can get a copy from.

    Thanks

Keyboard layouts are adjusted through windows. If you access the control panel, your should get language/keyboard options there. You can also opt to have keyboards changed on the fly, if you use multiple languages frequently.

I have found it difficult to use alternate keyboards, because your word processor needs to be altered for language as well. I have chosen to memorize a few keystrokes for Spanish - I believe that Alt+### draws unicode characters (if they are installed)

For example, in German, I think the only deviation from standard Roman script is the big B (ss sound) and umlaut...maybe a few others. It might be more convenient just to memorize a few keystrokes.
