My USB ports stop working almost a year ago. I have all the drivers downloaded from the web, but I can't figure out how to to load the chipsets. I load it and it asks me to reset the computer, but when it comes back....nothing and I don't know where to go from there. Thanks in advance.

Are your usb ports/controllers showing in device manager with an exclamation mark?
The usb drivers should be installed as part of the chipset package, not a separate install.

all is well as far as the computer goes....No exclamation in the device manager...even when i plug up a usb the light on the usb comes on so there is even power to the usb. there is no recognition when i plug any usb. i am baffled...i even reloaded mindows xp and still the same....but i am suresure it has to be a driver of some sort...not too what controls what....
