I just received a brand new laptop from my parents for Christmas and it is working just fine, except for this one problem. For some reason the mouse clicks on its own. Sometimes it is so bad it just clicks nonstop. I do plug in a mouse of my own but that is not the problem. The mouse pad is the problem. I would like to know if anyone has a fix for this. Thank you.

you can disable the touchpad by pressing
    Fn+F7
(the Fn key is located next to ctrl key). If it still is a problem go into the synaptics pointing device icon and then into device setting and press the disable button.
